Terms and conditions

1: Gas and plumbing services cannot and will not accept liability for unforeseen leaks due to either pressure increase, flushing or chemical cleaners on EXISTING pipework, whether this is on the hot, cold or heating. 

2: Gas and plumbing services cannot and will not accept liability for leaks caused to the heating system while carrying out system flushing with chemicals, although care will be taken.

3: Gas and plumbing services will connect onto the existing gas supply and 

test. If a problem is found with any of the existing gas system, the rectification work will be chargeable and a price agreed prior to work commencement.

4: Gas and plumbing services will adapt the existing wiring from the main heating fuse spur, if a problem is found with the existing electrical system, the rectification work will be chargeable and a price agreed prior to work commencement.

5: All existing controls will be connected onto; this includes the heating valves, manifold and pumps. If a problem is found with these controls during our works or after the repairs will be chargeable.

6: Gas and plumbing services provides a 1 years warranty as part of the quotation and this is a faulty workmanship warranty only. Parts will be charged accordingly.

7: Gas and plumbing services shall only be liable for works completed by the company and shall not be responsible for ensuing claims or damages as a result of overlooked works or subsequent requested works not undertaken at that time.

8: Full payment must be made on the day of works completion.

9: All goods supplied to site which have not been paid for will still be the property of Gas and plumbing services. 

10: Emailed acceptance is required of the quotation, and terms & conditions prior to work commencement.

11: Any invoice exceeding our payment terms will be referred to a debt collection agency and you will at this point become liable to cover any collection costs incurred. These charges will be pursued through the court and further charges may apply.
